Meningiomas usually are benign, slow growing tumours, although in rare cases they may be malignant and invade surrounding tissues. spinal meningiomas occur more frequently in women because of a possible dependence on sex hormones. Imaging has an important role in identifying the lesion, detecting tumor related complications and pre-surgical workup, which are essential for treatment. In this report a case of spinal meningioma is presented to reinforce the importance of accurate diagnosis of this lesion from its differential.
